It was aimed to determine of importance of the values associated with the environment on 4th qrade Social Studies Students’ environment awareness. This is a case study used qualitative approach in order to pet inforation in depth. There were used short stories in order to give nature’s love, cleanliness, helpfulness, tolerance associated with the environment for the 4th grade students and after that the form of semi structured interviews were constituted with education experts. Its aim was to reveal the each values to be transferred to the environment. While preparing interview questions, we asked the environment questions to determine the students’ level acquisition with the aim. We studied with 20 4th qrade students who are in Konya at Meram. There was used descriptive analysis technique. Similar and diffirent expressions were united in the analysis of data. In this study the students’ acquisition levels in reading story, the story of the being got value of the level used in other places with transferred level gained value data related to the environment were collected and evaluated. Generally, it was seen that the students could transfer the values to the environment and also they could use these in necessary places and time.
