The aim of this study is to determine the opinions of individuals who leave formal education and continue their education in an open high school about open high school. The study is a survey model study in quantitative research method. The study group of the research consists of 43 of 65 students who live in Ula district of Muğla Province and enroll in Open High School. 28 of the students attending open high school are women and 15 of them are men. A scale consisting of 9 questions prepared by Fidan for " Attitudes of Distance Education Students towards Distance Education and Epistemological Beliefs " was applied to the students. High school opinions of the individuals participating in the study about open high school the general arithmetic mean is (X = 3.88; I agree). It can be stated that the individuals participating in the study have high satisfaction with the open high school application. It has been observed that there is a significant difference (p <.05) between the opinions of high school students regarding the open high school according to the gender variable. The average of male students 'opinions about open high school is (X = 4.31), and the average of female students' opinions about open high school is (X = 3.60). It has been observed that male students are more satisfied with the open high school application than female students. Among the reasons for students to attend open high school; depending on economic reasons, there are reasons for maintaining work-life balance, getting a job, negativity in financial conditions and making a professional career. Depending on individual reasons; bi alternative learning opportunities individual effort and learning are available. Among the school related reasons; There were reasons stemming from the teacher and the school layout. In summary, it is seen that the decision to enroll in open high school depends on the exclusionary effect of the school and the more attractive factors outside of the school.
